This is the camera that I used while in Vietnam!
Keep in mind that there was a major file shortage while I was there.
The Cannon Dial 35 Camera was a motor driven device for both advance and rewind. This allowed you to take pictures at the rate of 2 per second. The motor was wound up and was spring driven. The camera took about 76 pictures per a normal 36 exposure roll of film.
This camera was known as a Half
Frame Camera.![]()

I also had a Canon Pellix QL that I had
purchased when I arrived at Osan AFB Korea.
I have several lenses for this camera and found that it was a nice quite
camera. This
Camera had no moving mirror. Since there was a film shortage in Vietnam, I had to
place this
camera away while I was there and use the above half frame camera.
