NOTICE TO ALL

For those that wondered what happened to me.  After the reunion I continued on a much deserved trip to the west coast and then stopped in San Francisco to visit friends.  I then returned home having just arrived on the 20th of October.  I will be updating all of the information shortly and also entering the new information from other DASF and TACP both active duty and retired.  I will post at the top of the DASF pages any updates that I make and were they are.

Any one requesting a copy of the listing of men that are on file here will receive a copy of the updated roster shortly.

The Korean Vietnam Veterans Web Site in Korea

There is both a Korean AND  English sections on this link.
Feel free to visit and ask any question that you might have.
You will get a prompt answer to you question in English.

Another site worth a visit is
HTTP://WWW.ROMAD.COM

The original ROMAD's as well as the current active duty ROMAD's are planning to hold the next reunion together and the location and date will be announced on both this site and at ROMAD.COM

This site is set up by Charlie Heidal  for use by the CURRENT ROMAD's and TACP's that are on ACTIVE DUTY in the USAF.  Several areas are off limits to non active duty service people since these men are overseas fighting in the 2 major conflicts, but most of the site is not pass word protected.  He has a lot of excellent information on today's ROMAD's and the type of training and duty they perform. If you are a ex-ROMAD and wish to contact Charlie for access to the full site follow the rules on this page to get your password.

Map Scale is 1:250,000
Remember, these maps are big.

Welcome to Jim Henthorn's Vietnam Vet Page!

Preliminary Map Scanning Completed as of 10/30/2001.
Indexing of place names is not complete. I'll be adding vintage maps of the remaining areas of Thailand in the near future as I get them done!  Please note that this is a very large site and the maps of Vietnam are very detailed thus they are large files to download.   This is still a work in progress and will be for many years to come. These maps are excellent for detailed research of / on the war.

Ray's Map Room
Vietnam Areas of Operation
Topographic Digital Map Images
Scale is 1:250,000

Ray has added to Jim Henthorn's maps many key places, battles and other important points concerning this war.  Each point of interest will have a orange diamond marker on the map. This diamond when clicked on will pop up with pictures and a written history for this location.  This has been very well done and is a work still in progress.....
